New Kid on the Block: SpywareHammer

Today is Labor Day in the United States -- a very appropriate day for the inauguration of a labor of love, SpywareHammer. The mission statement of SpywareHammer illustrates that a lot of thought and planning have gone on behind the scenes before the doors were opened:
Our Vision:
To provide a forum for people to receive expert help from our staff so as to achieve and maintain a secure computing environment, as well as a place for members to share their computer expertise and ideas in a friendly and positive atmosphere.

Our Mission:
To provide expert help and advice to others with computer security issues, as well as software and hardware problems. The SpywareHammer staff is an experienced and dedicated team of volunteers, resilient to changes in technology, while maintaining a friendly and positive atmosphere for our members.

Our Values:
We are a diverse and inspired team of volunteers.
We value and respect everyone's contribution.
We work as a team based on common goals, respecting and promoting unique talents.
For the many people who have been "regulars" at CastleCops, you will recognize familiar names from there as well as many of the other security forums. Knowing the quality of help provided by these dedicated staff members where ever they are found, you know you will receive the same quality help and advice at SpywareHammer.

Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to prepare the site for the grand opening.

Remember - "A day without laughter is a day wasted."
May the wind sing to you and the sun rise in your heart...

I wish them every bit of luck.

With the members helping out there to make it a hit, I am sure it will be beneficial to the community.
